The Decision Support System for Adaptive Postfire Management (DSS-APM) Restoration Module refers to the conceptual development of an adaptive post-fire management system. Operating through distinct phases, it establishes a protocol for using remote sensing with drones. It actively collects crucial open satellite data and analyses fire severity, constructs a severity index, assesses environmental vulnerability in burnt areas at both soil and vegetation levels, and generates management map areas regarding the analyses. The DSS incorporates a capsule drop notification system, empowering users to alert authorities of capsule drop and provides a visual representation of the capsule’s location.
